Updates to the Credit Guide

We have made two changes to the Credit Guide template in Mercury.

• The Lender Data section now contains the full 2018-2019 financial year data.
• The Privacy Statement section has been updated to include sensitive information.

Lender Data section

From 1^st August 2019 the Lender Data section in your Credit Guide will contain the complete 2018 – 2019 financial year data. This data is based on settlements from the previous financial year.

Privacy Statement

To align with the Australian Banking Association’s new Banking Code of Practice we have updated our Privacy Policy and Privacy Statement so that ‘Personal Information’ includes sensitive information. Our changes are aligned with the changes made by the MFAA.

What do you need to do?

If you are using the MASTER Credit Guide template these changes will automatically populate.

If you are not using the MASTER Credit Guide template because you have made changes to, then you need to update the Privacy Statement and the Lender Data section in your Credit Guide.

For our Credit Representatives, you will need to update the Privacy Policy on your website and any other consumer facing platform. The updated Privacy Policy can be found here.
